Join us in this guided meditation that will allow you to manifest blessings and live a more peace, joy, and love filled life. Kim will be offering originally written meditations monthly at The Wellness Universe Lounge, free. Each live meditation will be recorded if you cannot attend the live meditation. "Whether you are a beginner or a pro, guided meditations can offer a wonderful exercise for your brain. Guided meditations can bring about change in the body. It uses the mind to create an experience that activates muscles, changes your thought process and can even change the way the cells work in your body. Our brains are very complex, but our brains don't distinguish between a real or imaginary event. If you imagine something in your mind, your brain can interpret that as an actual true event and it can form new neural pathways in the brain. Guided meditations are an invaluable tool to create a relaxed state of well-being and health, as well as spiritual and personal growth. In my guided meditations I will take you on a specific journey through nature focusing on releasing and letting go, calming the mind, forgiveness, self-acceptance and Love, health and raising your vibration. I am really into breath. I am really into intention. Harnessing the power of the human mind through breath is the ultimate tool for health, healing, and happiness. I lead volunteer yoga classes outdoors in San Francisco, CA at Hayes Valley Farm. I have been doing so for the past year. I also throw conscious (alcohol free) yoga and blindfolded dance parties in SF. As an eLearning entrepreneur and enthusiast, I believe eLearning to be a fantastic tool for personal sustainability. eLearning reduces the carbon footprint of travel, increasing potential for physical activity in our busy lives, and opens up opportunities to learn from instructors and concepts all over the world. Sasha Gray is a Wellness Coach, Raw Food Chef, Permaculture Consultant, Thai Masseuse and Yogi incorporating the Living Food Lifestyle. She is also the Co-Founder of BALANCED WELLNESS RETREATS. Her journey began through her need to eat more consciously and ethically, for the sake of her body and our planet. Growing up on a farmstead in rural Saskatchewan, Sasha has been exposed to the very large business of farming while still being taught the importance of self sufficiency in gardening, hunting, trapping and fishing. Sasha's Russian & Metis roots have afforded her the luxury of learning self sufficiency, medicinal and nutritional methodologies from all over the world. As a former dancer working with such world famous artists as Gregory Hines, she has extensive experience in nutrition related to sports, sports injuries and eating for optimal health and performance. She has studied nutrition with the likes of David Wolfe, Daniel Vitalis, Victoria Boutenko, Gabrielle Brick, Alissa Cohen and Tim Van Orden. Using her skills as a certified Wellness Coach in combination with her practical training received abroad, Sasha is currently incorporating her knowledge in Herbalism and Raw Foods to aid stage two diabetics in reversing their diagnosis. Her latest achievement has been creating a fully functional Organic NON-GMO garden to build on self sufficiency in her community.
