This meditation guides you on how to name your ego. Ego is present for many reasons. Sometimes it thinks it can prevent us from stepping out and getting hurt. If we're operating from fear, we're most likely operating from ego. By naming the ego, often it allows us to recognize it sooner so we can separate ourselves from it when we choose to. If it jumps up while you're practicing meditation, reiki, spiritual development, etc., learn how to recognize it so you can release it. Class will be recorded Live.

For those of you that are completely new to the Enneagram, the Enneagram is a psycho-spiritual map towards understanding and knowing ourselves and others. We are all driven by a need to understand, grow, learn, and achieve. The Enneagram shows us the 9 different ways that we see, feel, and think. It teaches us that we are more than our personalities and that we have a True Nature that has been covered by the personality. The Enneagram helps us to delve underneath the personality structure and uncover the 9 different illusions we have. One of the Enneagram’s first teachers reminds us that we have been asleep and our work is to wake up. He says we are 3 brained Beings and that we really have 3 centers of intelligence, our mind, gut, and heart. In the introduction to the Enneagram, I hope to take you on a tour to meet all 9 types and discover something about yourself! If you already know the Enneagram there may still be some nuggets you can take away with you. The Enneagram is a dynamic map, the deeper we are willing to look the more we learn about ourselves.

Every three months we gather for a soul cleanse. During guided meditation, we go back over the past months to release mundane and unwanted energy that we may still be holding onto. This helps to lighten the soul; which, in turn, helps us feel lighter. Still holding onto the energy of an argument you had with a friend, co-worker, or family member? Release it! If it doesn't serve you, let it go! Did someone hand you their emotional baggage and you're still carrying it with you? Let it go! It's NOT yours! Once you get the basics down, you can adjust this meditation for a nightly, weekly, or monthly cleanse! There are different types of energy that we may be carrying with us that we're not even consciously aware of. Once we become aware, during class and meditation, we can release it. Much of these energies are simply taking space in our soul when we can release it and make room for much more pleasant things.
I believe our souls record our experiences: good, bad, and indifferent. It's great to hold onto the good stuff. Not so great when we hold onto the bad or mundane. At the very least, they take up space where more good stuff could be. I see the bad stuff as sometimes being so large, we may even "forget" the good stuff. Oh, but the good stuff is there, just waiting for us. A Soul Cleanse helps to release the bad and mundane. Many feel lighter and brighter when we're done. Of course, some things require deeper healing, but anything we can release is good for the soul. I offer a Soul Cleanse every quarter for soul maintenance. It's a great way to stop, assess, and lovingly release what no longer serves you. Take some time to cleanse the energy of your soul. You'll be glad you did!
