Breathe, Move & Heal! 9 Classes are included in this series! All classes will be recorded - watch and learn anytime, anywhere! Come join us and learn Qigong. Each class will be different and will focus on breath techniques, mild stretches and learning several qigong movements. This class is excellent for anyone recovering from illness, injury or surgery. It is also an excellent exercise for those looking to obtain optimal health. What is Qigong? It is an ancient Chinese practice that is easy to learn and practice. Some of the benefits of Qigong include reducing stress and anxiety, boosting the immune system, decreasing pain and lowering blood pressure. The practice involves slow movements with long, slow breaths. The breath techniques help to improve lung capacity over time and can reverse respiratory concerns.

It is also ideal for those beginning to learn yoga as well as those with limited mobility. Tuesday - Restorative/Yin Yoga Friday - Gentle Yoga Restorative/Yin Yoga This class is designed to reduce stress and anxiety while increasing your flexibility. The postures are passive in nature and done on the floor (seated, lying on your back or stomach). Gentle Yoga This class includes gentle yoga poses that help increase flexibility and your range of motion. Poses will be done either sitting in a chair or on a mat, there will also be some standing poses.

In this live, virtual class Jamie Butler Medium will present Reiki 1. This energy modality is a simple natural process available to everyone. It is gentle; yet, a powerful technique that complements other medical and therapeutic modalities used to promote recovery. Reiki level 1 focuses on physical healing. The Reiki (universal energy) moves through the energetic field, feeding it into the chakras, the endocrine system, bodily organs, and reaching the cellular/DNA level. During a session of Reiki the energy can balance, harmonize, and energize the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels of the recipient. The study of Reiki can help a person who is seeking spiritual awareness as well. Reiki can help various stresses ranging from asthma, burns, headaches, muscle tension, menstrual cramps, digestive issues, grief, and more. Jamie teaches all three levels of Reiki from both the modern and traditional perspectives and requires a 21-day period between initiations so the student can learn how to incorporate the healing into their life. Participants, please be prepared for lots of homework! All students will receive a Level 1 attunement from Jamie as well as a certificate of completion that will be mailed out 21 days after class.
